Bishop Felix on the Enthronement of Sarah Mullally as Archbishop of Canterbury

The Church is God’s Church and he has the right to determine who he calls to serve in ordained leadership ministry. According to the Bible, God says : “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor”(1 Timothy 2:12-14). In his letter to the Corinthian Church Paul makes a similar assertion and stated that it was a a divine command for all the Churches: “If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord”(1 Corinthians 14:34, 37).
This enthronement is a flagrant violation of this command in the Bible. Enthroning a pro-gay, religious pluralist, and theologically liberal female Archbishop on the See of Canterbury is an act of rebellion against God.
As Canon Brett Murphy noted “Everything wrong with the Church of England in one photograph. The Dean of Canterbury (a homosexual in a civil partnership with another man) installing the Archbishop (1 Timothy 2:12) on St. Augustine's chair as a gaggle of female clergy watch on. No wonder the CofE is dying, the hierarchy has completely sold out to the world, the flesh and the devil. The feminist take over is total, the full apostasy is now complete.”
God is not glorified by our disobedience.
